Register with the police (EU/EEA) or get a residence permit
- EU/EEA citizens staying three months or more must obtain a registration certificate by registering with the police.
- Non-EU/EEA citizens who want to work or stay more than 90 days need a residence permit (see UDI).
- Staying six months or more? You must also register your move to Norway.
